The First Presbyterian Church of Whitestone has been at work in northeast Queens since 1871, seeking to proclaim God’s Word and live out God’s justice and peace in our lives and our community. The First Presbyterian Church of Whitestone is located at 15-43 149th Street in Whitestone, Queens, at the corner of 149th Street and 15th Drive in Whitestone (Queens). Parking is available on the streets nearby.

 

From Midtown Manhattan:
Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east to exit for the Grand Central Pkwy/Whitestone Bridge. Follow signs to Whitestone Bridge onto the Whitestone Expressway. Bear left onto the Cross Island Parkway South. Exit at the very first exit (14th Ave.) At the traffic light, proceed straight ahead to the next light. Make a right onto 149th St. The church is two blocks on the left.

From LaGuardia Airport and the Triborough Bridge:
Take the Grand Central Parkway toward Eastern Long Island. Take the exit for the Whitestone Expressway. Bear left onto the Cross Island Parkway South. Exit at the first exit (14th Ave.) At the traffic light, proceed straight ahead to the next light. Make a right onto 149th St. The church is two blocks on the left.

From Long Island:
From the Long Island Expressway, take the Cross Island Parkway West toward the Whitestone Bridge. Use the Utopia Parkway exit. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp and make an immediate right onto the Cross Island Parkway service road. Follow the service road to the fourth light (149th St.), then turn left across the parkway onto 149th St. The church is three blocks down on the left.

From Bronx, Westchester, New Jersey and Connecticut:
Cross the Whitestone Bridge. At the end of the bridge, bear left onto the Cross Island Parkway South. Get off the very first exit (14th Ave.) At the traffic light, proceed straight ahead to the next light. Make a right onto 149th St. The church is two blocks on the left.

By public transportation:
 From the Flushing-Main Street stop at the end of the #7 subway, take the Q15 or Q15A bus from in front of Macy's on Roosevelt Avenue to the bus stop on 150th Street at 15th Drive. Walk one block west on 15th Drive to the church on the corner of 149th Street and 15th Drive. Other nearby buses include the Q44, Q76, and QM2 express bus.
